The outer layer of each WaterGelSacks™ is made from jute, a natural fiber known for its exceptional strength and durability. This reputation was solidified during World War I when jute bags were used to reinforce trenches. Today, this durable material is used in a range of applications, including repairing dikes, reinforcing embankments with inclinations up to 60%, and stabilizing substrates.

 Inside the jute bag is a semi-porous cotton liner, which holds the SAP securely. Like jute, cotton is a 100% natural fiber with excellent hydrophilic properties, ensuring the polymer stays contained and efficient.

When submerged in water, these jute bags expand within 4 minutes, maintaining their shape and allowing for quick and easy deployment.
